If yes, you must properly manage and track your stock details such as:

In TallyPrime, you can create unlimited Stock Items for your business.
You can also define:

• Units of Measurement (UoM)
• GST / Tax Rates
• Opening Stock details

Once defined, you do not need to enter these details again during transactions,
which makes billing faster and more accurate.

🛠 Inventory Creation Menus in TallyPrime

In TallyPrime, inventory can be created using the following Masters:

1. Stock Groups
   Used to classify stock items (Example: Men Wear, Lighting, Wiring).
2. Stock Items
   Used to create actual products (Example: Shirt, LED Bulb, Soap).
3. Units of Measure (UoM)
   Used to define measurement units (Nos, Kgs, Litres, Pcs, Boxes).

• Stock Categories – Additional classification of stock items.
• Compound Units – Combination of two units (Example: Box of 10 Nos).
• Tax Rate for Stock Items – Define GST rate at item level.
