🛠️ How to Apply (Enable) Security Control 

📝 Steps to Enable Security Control

1. Open the Company

2. Press Alt + K (Company Menu)

3. Select Alter

4. Select the Company

5. Set Use Security Control? → Yes

6. Enter:

   • Administrator Name

   • Password

   • Repeat Password

7. Press Ctrl + A to Save

🔹 Now security is activated.
Next time when opening company, it will ask for User ID & Password.

✅ Remove  [ Enable ] Secuiirty Control 

❌ How to Remove (Disable) Security Control

📝 Steps to Remove Security

1. Login as Administrator

2. Press Alt + K

3. Select Alter Company

4. Select Company

5. Set Use Security Control? → No

6. Press Ctrl + A

Security Control will be removed.

✅ Apply Tally Valt Password 

🔐 Tally Vault Password 

Tally Vault is a special security feature in TallyPrime that encrypts company data.

When you set a Tally Vault Password:

• Company data becomes encrypted

• Data cannot be opened without Vault password

• Provides higher security than normal Security Control

👉 Even if someone copies your data folder, they cannot open it without the Vault password.

🛠️ How to Set (Enable) Tally Vault Password

📝 Steps to Set Tally Vault

1. Open the Company

2. Press Alt + K (Company Menu)

3. Select Alter

4. Select the Company

5. Find Tally Vault Password option

1. Enter New Password

2. Re-enter Password to confirm

3. Press Ctrl + A to Save

✅ Now the company is protected with Tally Vault.

Next time when opening:

• It will ask for Vault Password.

❌ How to Remove Tally Vault Password

⚠️ You must know the existing Vault password.

📝 Steps to Remove Tally Vault

1. Open the Company (Enter Vault Password)

2. Press Alt + K

1. Select Company

2. Go to Tally Vault Password field

1. Clear the password (Keep it blank)

2. Press Ctrl + A to Save 

✅ Vault protection will be removed.

⚠️ Important Points

• If Vault password is forgotten → Data cannot be recovered easily.

• Always keep Vault password safely recorded.

• Tally Vault is stronger than normal Security Control.
