Step 1: Access the Company Creation Screen

1. Open TallyPrime.

2. If you are at the “Welcome” screen, select Create Company.

3. If you are already at the Gateway of Tally, press Alt + K (Company Menu) → Create.

Step 2: Enter Basic Brand Details

Fill in the following details in the creation window:

Step 3: Set Financial Year & Security

• Financial year beginning from: 1-Apr-2024

• Books beginning from: 1-Apr-2024

• Security: If you want a password, set “Control User Access to Company Data” to Yes, otherwise leave it as No.

• Action: Press Ctrl + A to save the identity.

Step 4: Enable GST (The Statutory Step)

After saving Step 3, the F11: Features screen opens automatically.

1. Navigate to Taxation → Enable Goods and Services Tax (GST) → Set to Yes.

2. A sub-screen opens. Enter the GST details:

   • State: Karnataka

   • Registration type: Regular

   • GSTIN/UIN: 29AAAAA0000A1Z5 (Sample Karnataka GSTIN)

   • Periodicity of GSTR1: Monthly

3. Press Ctrl + A to save the GST screen, then Ctrl + A again to save the Features screen.

Step 5: Confirmation (Gateway of Tally)

You will now see Titan Electronics Hub Pvt Ltd listed on the left side of your screen under “Current Company.”
